I probably wont be doing any diving with the team for the first year. First I have to pass the cadet training program of radio,first aid, self defence,driving, restraint, Ect. to be a special deputy then I can join the dive team. but as my life will also be in the hands of the other divers I am glad to know they have to pass a lot of training and prove themselfs before getting in the water.

After your first year and you apply to the dive team and are approved, the next swim test get to be more fun. It takes almost 2 years to make the rest of the way

I just heard from the HCSD the other day about volunteering for the E-squad. They said they'd be sending me the app. and some other literature and docs. Wish me luck!!
