Dive Trips 2005
This is the time of the year when I start dreaming up plans for the upcoming dive season. I was wondering what destinations and shipwrecks other people are dreaming about or planning for 2005?
I am getting my boat squared away and I just bought a new (used) van to pull it so I am looking forward to busy 2005. Bob |

Re: Dive Trips 2005
So far I've booked a tech trip to Isle Royale with Chuck and Two Rivers and I'll be doing my trimix over Memorial and the weekend after. Otherwise I'm up for anything. I forget the name but there is an Emporer style wreck where her stern is up off the bottom at a 45 degree angle. I saw it on a video of Ken's. I believe it's up off of the U.P. somewhere. I'm in for sure for a ride to ghost ships. Chuck wasn't sure how he is getting there either. Do you still have your compressor? Looks like I'm gonna stay on O.C. this summer.

Re: Dive Trips 2005
Hey Corndogg,
You're probably thinking of the stern of the Congdon. That's on Isle Royale too, it's very near the Emperor. The stern is sitting in about 220' and sits at a very steep angle. The bow section is actually broken off and lies on the other side of the reef. That's a neat wreck to dive, the double wheel on the stern is really cool. |

Re: Dive Trips 2005
I have a long list of ships that I would like to dive this year.
The three new shipwrecks found last year (Friant. Moonlight, and Noble) would be nice. I still haven't been able to dive the Judge Hart so that is a must do. I would like to spend some time at Whitefish Point and the Straits of Mackinaw. I had a good time at Two Rivers last year and may have to do that again. If I can find the right group the Carl Bradley is a possible. To many neat wrecks so little time. Bob |
