Dive Rite download kits

Has anyone else had trouble with their Nitek download kits? I just picked the thing up on Tuesday and can't get it to work. I will have to call Dive Rite for tech support but was wondering if there are others out there having problems?

i have to install a serial card on my PC before i can use mine.
and damn if it dont look like homebrew. i mean, an elastic band
to make sure the contact points connect. *eyes roll*

The Positve thing about the VR3 interface is it uses IR.
The Negative is you have to use thier Serial to IR adaptor. :-[

I got mine up and running. It works nice looks good. It does have an old school look and feel to it though. I thought everything was USB port connections now, I guess I was wrong.

Befor you put your computer on the contacts you need to put your computer into the transfer mode. Push the B button then hold the A button for 5 seconds. Then you will need to push and hold the A and B buttons ,puhing the A button first, for 5 seconds. This should put your computer in the download mode. Your screen will be blank except for at the very bottom of the screen there will be an arrow pointing to the TRN on the right.

AHA! Thanks for the instructions to put dive computer in
download mode!

I got the serial card in my PC last night but couldnt get anything
to download. Thanks for reading the manual and posting
the instructions for me!
