making a BC weight intergrated
My friend has a Sea elite BC which has large pockets but is not weight intergrated. Does anyone know of a cheap way to switch it into a weight integrated BC? Are there any after market type of weight pockets which could be fitted into such a BC? If anyone has any ideas or comments which could help me out it would be appreciated.

Re:making a BC weight intergrated
Have no idea what the BC looks like, but Zeagle (and I'm sure other brands) sell ditchable weight pockets which can be worn on a nylon belt. I'm not sure what their weight capacity is (when I'm diving OC I use them on back to help trim so I only put a pound or two in them). If the BC has a simple nylon waist belt, the pouches might work.

I think Dive Rite or OMS has a weight belt harness system. You strap it on under your BC and and it looks much more stable than a weight belt. I've seen people out at Square using them and I'm sure scuba dive and travel could tell you more about them.

DUI makes a very nice weight-harness. I know its made for a dry suit but I used it wet too. I wouldn't think about giving it up!!! I think it retails for around $100.
