Re:a fellow freediver goin' under
Once you swim through the cave you come up in a grotto with a ton of swimmers in it.

It's been said that more than one diver has surprised a skinny-dipper in here. 8)

Depth is 20'-30' around the enterance to this.

About three hours north of Detroit on the end of the Bruce Peninsula.

There is hiking, shopping, kayaking, diving and other tourist things to do.

I went there last summer with my wife and a bunch of diver friends- mostly bubble-blowers.

My wife couldn't dive, since we had just found out she was pregnant, but she did go kayaking and snorkeling.

We got there on a carferry from Canada and left by driving back through southern Michigan.

Your money buys 30% more there because of the exchange rate. It is a great family place to go to.

Here is a shot of my wife and I kayaking over some shallow shipwrecks in Big Tub harbor.

A picture of the town, which is built around the harbor.

Re:a fellow freediver goin' under
My friend, Jitka, kayaking over one of the shipwrecks that breaks the surface.
Many of the ships ran aground and have their bow's in 20' of water and their sterns in 90'-150' of water- great for freediving!
We dove this great little wreck called the Forrest City. The stern was at 150', so we used trimix, and the bow ended in about 30'. We started out with a bottom time of 25 minutes and did almost all of our deco on the wreck! It was great to switch over to our 70' bottles and still have another half of a wreck to see while we decompressed!!

My favorite dive magazine. They seem to have the best coverage news wise, and they don't take as much of a holier than though attitude.
