The extended family wants to meet for a long weekend in Bayfield. Anyone know of houses/cabins that will accommodate 4 couples and 3 dogs?

We've used WindField Inn the most but that's motel'ish. They also contract with home owners and manage the rental of them so call there. The Chamber of Com also helps locate lodging for visitors. (***insert by Mrs ArcFlash: Go to and use the lodging finder. You can search by what type of accommodation you want and it will show you availability and prices. Be sure to call directly to book something though)

We got a very nice place that allowed dogs but the catch (we didn't know in time) was many require that you are with the dog at all time. That's a real drag when you want to go out at night so verify what dog rules they have up front.
