Bottle identification
I found this yesterday when detector guy and I were out training. It has a triangle on the bottom with the words "the liquid". it has quite a few bubbles in the glass, and an uneven bottom. I am guessing grain belt beer, but I couldn't find anything.

Re: Bottle identification
Shooter,
ya got to set yer camera on closeup shots, so the background is out of focus, not the bottle! Anyway, I'd say early 1900 - 1930... |

Re: Bottle identification
Antigo Pop & Soft Drink Co., Wisconsin
This antique soda bottle is embossed in six lines, "ANTIGO POP AND SOFT DRINK CO. ANTIGO, WIS." There are similar molds from other glassmakers but no other Wisconsin hutchinson soda bottler is known to put the words, "soft drink" or "pop" in their embossing. The glass manufacturer of this bottle is M.B.&G.CO. (reverse hub) which seems a little early for this bottle? There is a diamond shaped figure on the bottom with the words "THE LIQUID" inside.

Re: Bottle identification
I have received great info from Doug Shilson. Their club does not appear to have a web site anymore. He does not dive for bottles, he digs for them.(old outhouse locations ) He can tell you all about the company and so on. He wrote a book about 20 years ago that has all sorts of info:
North Star Historical Bottle Association, Inc. c/o Doug Shilson 3308 32nd Ave. South S.
