Re: Perch Lake
Which one?  I've heard there are two platforms in the lake but I have only seen one of them.

Re: Perch Lake
Dan G and I were out at Perch again Sunday and we put the plywood sheets back on the platform frame although they are just laying on top and are not secured.  Also we tied the line back so it is again connected to the clam bucket.  The platform sits at about 30 feet right now and it's sitting at a downward angle and probably needs to be rotated 180 degrees.  I think two of the legs are longer than the others so that may straighten it out a bit.  If anyone has some bigger liftbags it would be a fun project to try and reposition the platform.  As an FYI when we brought it up from 40 feet we used four 60# bags and it wasn't enough which is why we only managed to move it up as far as we did.

Hey Jean.  Yeah, the platform is old but actually it's not in too bad of shape.  Better than some of the ones in Square anyway.  The frame is made of steel.  The plywood sheets are a little old but not too rotten yet from what I could tell.

Re: Perch Lake
Vis was pretty good in Perch last night, best I've seen it in a while.

The platform was moved again.  It is now right next to the clam bucket.  There is also a line tied to a dock.  People should be able to find it easily now.
