Re:Lake Superior Camp and Dive Weekend, Sept. 10-12
Had a great time at Superior this weekend. Beautiful weather Saturday. I managed to get in 5 dives over the weekend including my first night dive in the big lake on the Hesper wreck last night. Viz was down for Superior...about 25 to 30 feet. Water temp from the surface down to about 60 feet was 52 degrees and it was about 46 degrees below that. This morning Jason and I were the only ones diving the Madeira. It was windy, cloudy and very cool out today with a pretty strong surge...ugly day up there to say the least. Viz was down considerably today compared to yesterday. Here's a shot of Jason on the Madeira yesterday.

Great week-end at Superior.
As [glow=red,2,300]Xann[/glow] (are you sure it starts with an X) said it, the Air Down There crew, including Hazmat & Babe, did a fabulous job. Thanks every one for the good times and the great diving. I'm looking forward to more of those O.P. now known as Chevalier |
