Dive Insurance - New kid on the block?

Greetings from the "Rebel",
My daughter, age 17, is in the middle of her scuba certification course right now. I assumed that the dive shop would give her information and applications to join DAN. However, they had her fill out an application for a company called Diveassure. They offer diving insurance. I have been a DAN member since I started diving and have the insurance. I am totally satisfied with it. I know that DAN has had some recent internal squabbling over the founder, Dr. Bennet doing some questionable financial deals. I though he had been ousted by the BOD.
Anyway, are any of you familiar with the insurance products offered my Diveassure? Are they a better deal that DAN insurance? For simplicity, I'd like to have us insured by the same program. Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply.

I have heard good things about DiveAssure. I know that you get more coverage for the $$.
