Flutter kicks

A friendly reminder: Flutter kicks should almost never be used when diving our local waters. Flutter kicks negatively impact the visibility at dive sites and cause divers to expend more energy. Flutter kicks decrease dive times due to the increased amount of gas consumed by the diver. Flutter kicks are appropriate while on the surface, well above the lake bed, or in a rescue situation.

Please use frog kicks when diving locally.
