Lake Johanna
i went a few years back when there was construction at the park...not a lot of boat traffic...good viz. i want to go again, but was wondering if anybody has been this year (the lake is close and I have the day off)...
I may take my canoe to access the deeper water. Later |

I'm not familiar with Lake Johanna - where is it located? What type of depth?

roseville area...
213 acres...20-40ft (MUCH less near shore...plus a "sunken island"). the lake is stocked (or was) and weekend boat traffic can be high... |

I tried it 5 years ago and the viz was crap...2 feet tops.

Also, I know the PSD dive teams do some training out there. Good lake for that I suppose.

We went to the swimming beach one time last year....Not the best vis....Square on a bad day is by far better!

I poked around in there this morning. vis was 1-2'.
20' in Johanna is like being in 80' at Phalen.
