shadow divers
A friend recomended this book to me as a good winter read to get me jazzed to dive, I didn't get to it over the winter but picked up on on CD on Thursday, It was a very compelling read, I was in the car a lot this weekend and couldnt stop listning. If you haven't read it and are looking for something that will keep you on the edge of you seat Shadow Divers is a good book for you.
I drove out on my lake this week, still three feet of ice in ottertail county. Doug

Re: shadow divers
I received Shadow Divers for Xmas and loved it... a fascinating real life diving adventure with some compelling WWII history to boot. In short, it's about an unknown WWII German sub discovered off of the NJ coast in the early 1990's and the diving and research led by John Chatterton and Richie Kohler to discover it's identity. The book is well written (by Robert Kurson) and has a number of pictures of participants from present day and WWII.
Chatterton is well known now after doing work with Nova and now having the lead on "Deep Sea Detectives" shown on the History Channel.

Re: shadow divers
You can read a CD? You must have laser vision. Sorry, I couldn't resist. |

Re: shadow divers
I was hoping someone would pick up on that one, but it is hard to read in the car when I am the one driving, I listen to a lot of books on tape and cd.
