Tragedy in Cave Country (FL)
This information is what I've gleaned from the few news reports & info I've seen on the web.
A 30 cu ft stage bottle, being refilled with Oxygen was dropped on the valve, the tank then exploded, killing the woman who was filling the tank, and injuring 3 others. This occurred Tues July 29th at "Cave Excursions" in Luraville, FL. This is where I trained for cave diving. I think this underscores the need to be careful when handling scuba tanks, and make sure to leave them in a save position. Jeff Leech
