I've been wanting to get out soon and I'm looking for a dive buddy. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to find someone to dive with? I would hate to just show up at a lake hoping someone would let me tag along.

Ironmonkey, I recommend posting a message to the forum letting people know where you would like to dive and when. Oftentimes you will get a response from someone else looking for a buddy. I'm usually out diving every month and I always welcome other divers to join me.

Thanks jason. I haven't done any lakes around here really so I'm up for wherever. I live in elko and am open almost any Saturday night or Sunday. I'd be willing to drive a little but farther treks would need a little advance notice.
