ScubaEarth
ScubaEarth... This is a website that PADI is putting together that is similar to GoogleEarth, but geared toward divers. The site won't roll out for 100 days but it sounds like it will be kinda interesting. I hope it is robust and not some typical watered down PADI endeavor. No info on the link below but if it is as powerful as GoogleEarth, I can see myself populating a few electronic dive sites for others to look at. I think this ScubaEarth might just be the portal to local and distant dive sites we have been waiting for... and will continue to wait for another 100 days.

Re: ScubaEarth
I tried out the ScubaEarth website that PADI put out. This is a Beta version and still needs some work before it gets anywhere near as powerful as GoogleEarth. I tried logging a dive and all of the data entry is metric so I was instantly turned off to the whole thing. I think its still a great idea and maybe with some constructive criticism it will evolve to be a useful tool. Right now it is not in my opinion.
