Comparison of DSV's

Here are a couple pictures that I took of the different DSV's (Dive Surface Valve) from a few of my rebreathers.  I have on the top row a comparison of BOV (Bail Out Valve - DSV)from the KISS, Golem Shrimp, Poseidon Discovery.  On the bottom row DSV from Inspiration, Megalodon, rEvo / Drager Ray.  The picture shows relative size as a comparison, but I did not do any testing other than my own based on experience.

Weights of the following, taken off my postal weight scale.

KISS  -  1lb 4 oz

Golem - 15 oz

Poseidon - 11 oz

Inspo  -  6 oz

Meg  - 6  oz

rEvo - 4 oz

I have previously sold my AP Diving Bailout DSV, sorry did not have picture for comparison. 

Other CCR News: I was in the process of tricking out the new KISS Explorer that I got a few weeks ago...and got excited as the package with fittings I need arrived.  Unfortunately they sent the wrong size.  So I will have to wait to post pictures of all of the very cool Mods that I think will make it very diveable.

Off to dive the Tech wrecks of Milwaukee this holiday weekend.
