Going under dive center

I have been a customer of SD&T since I started diving. Last year when they closed down I was giving a partial fill card by a friend for Going Under, and told to check them out. The card was numbered and had 4 fills on it. I went in the other week and was told they no longer honor their fill cards.. Is it ok to take money for something and then decide you will not honor your commitment.

Sorry to hear of your difficulty.  Going Under Dive Center issued this card in 1993 and they were honored until 2003, ten years is not bad for $10.  We had a grace period for 2 years beyond this date, but at some point we had to cut it off.  The card we saw only had two punches and was only valid for air fills, no other gas.

Since your cylinder was improperly set up with the wrong burst disc, and I did not discover it until after the fill....I can upgrade your burst disc to the correct pressure for the cylinder at no charge for the inconvenience.
