nitrox computers
I was wondering what people are useing for dive computers? I picked up a Nitek from dive rite. It only goes up to 50% O2, should I have gotten a computer that goes up to 100% O2? I was thinking ahead to adv. nitrox decompression procedures.

Re:nitrox computers
A single mix nitrox computer is fine for recreational diving, where you'll never even use an EAN50 bottom mix (EAN32 is the best all around rec mix).
Once you get into tech diving a simple BT is the way to go, since you'll be running tables anyway. I'd save my money and spend it on tanks, regs, exposure protection or good training rather than spending hundreds of extra dollars on a multi mix computer. |
