Courtesy of a US Navy deck wash from 6 X 500lb satellite guided bombs, Saddam's Presidential yacht may soon become one of the Middle East's hottest dive sites! Currently adrift in the harbor in the southern city of Basra...anyone up for opening a dive shop in Basra?

Man, I saw the video footage on tv last night. That thing is trashed! Would be a good dive site though. They should tow it to the north shore and sink it there for us. ;D

Yeah, appreciate the removal of booby traps first!
I'll bet that thing rivals the Doria (back in her day) as far as splendor goes. Art work, wood work, china etc. In reality it'll be stripped to the core and sold for scrap. Unless of course the Navy views it as a navigation hazard then they'll tow it out to deeper water and get in some target practice to put her down.
