Well I am off for 2 weeks of "fun in the sun" with the National Guard, leaving on August 19th. When it is over, I will be going to Portsmouth to pitch my tent for 3 nights of R & R.

Hey Buddy,
Finally got internet access up here at beautiful Camp Ripley :-\. I will departing here on Thursday afternoon sometime and hope to have a campsite picked-out at Portsmouth by noon on Friday, but planning on departing for home sometime Sunday afternoon. Here lies a potential problem for me, I really screwed my ribs up on an obstacle course here on Monday, the doctor, a diver himself from the Duluth area, said that I should not do any diving for a few weeks (hurts like a sob) and has put me on limited duty with a 25 lb weight restriction. To make things a little more interesting, I also had a recent trip to the trauma center in St. Cloud. So at this point, I may not be diving.

OK Guys, it's been 2 weeks now and the ribs are feeling much better, looking to do a little diving the last weekend in September. Since I missed-out on diving over Labor Day weekend, I am hoping to take a 3-day weekend (Fri-Sun) and strictly dive.
What do ya think?
