High Springs, FL Trip - advice?

Greetings,
So I'm all but on the plane (leave Sun) for my cave training but I'm looking for advice to help me manage some tasks.

Where should I get rental tanks?
The wife still uses Yoke (can you get yoke in DIN country?)
Will I have a choice of AL or Steel? 80 or 95? Advice?

Where can we go for OW dives? Something easy to start with. We have a day or two before I start class. She's OW so nothing deep or challenging please.

Anything else I should know? I don't know anything.

Who are you doing your training with?

For cave diving I am pretty sure you will use steel doubles, and your instructor will probably have them available. They should also have screw in inserts for the din conversions.

the cavern at ginnie is  a good open water training and practice area

Cool, so If I have to rent are they all competitive so I can pick something close?

I read the post about $12.5 an air fill! What should I pay?

Rich has some sets of doubles to rent to students, so you might check with him first to see if he has any.  If not, I'm sure he has contacts.

For doubles the standard costs down here is:
8 Dollars for an air fill...
Nitrox (almost ALWAYS 32%)   8 to 10 cents per cu ft.

I would say your doubles for sure will be steel.

Your milage will VARY for the fill prices , of course.  But that is pretty much what everyone pays at the shops down here in Cave Country.

I started my cave in LP 85's and stayed with them.  For me , I can't lift much more than 95's.  And if they are pressed steel , UFFDA !!!!  But again , your milage will vary.
