Friday, July 16 Fun Dive
We are heading out to Perch Lake, for a fun dive this Friday night. We are meeting at the boat launch at 6pm. Again, rental is half price and $5.00 gets you an air fill and food.
Please call the store in advance so we can plan for food!

Re:Friday, July 16 Fun Dive
Good diving with everyone at Perch tonight even though the viz sucked. BTW, did anyone find the boat? I couldn't believe I didn't see it. We found the line, the scoop shovel and the platform but no boat in between those points. Either the viz was really that bad or someone moved the boat which I kinda doubt. If anyone's planning on diving Perch soon and hasn't been out there in awhile I'd recommend going below 30 feet if you want halfway decent viz. It was much clearer down there but above 30 feet was about as bad as I've seen it out there.

Re:Friday, July 16 Fun Dive
I didn't quite make it over there (platform/shovel etc..) due to a, ahem, technical diviculty (aborted the nite dive... :'( ) but they said there are now two cinder blocks tied to the ropes where the boat used to be!!! Calling all cars , calling all cars , SOMEONE TOOK THE BOAT :o Jean
How's my diving? Call 1-800-EAT-FISH

Re:Friday, July 16 Fun Dive
Interesting. Anyone know if the boat was just moved or was it actually removed from the lake? ???

Re:Friday, July 16 Fun Dive
Yes, the boat has been moved, I don't know where or how it was moved. I didn't see any signs of it being dragged anywhere. They probably used lift bags.
The Night dive was awesome for vis, Sorry about your short dive Jean.
