Bemidji Diving - scott - 08-28-2003

I may be going to Bemidji this weekend. Has anyone ever dove there or heard of any good lakes around that area?

You might want to give the dive shop in Bemidji a call. The shop is called "The Dive Depot" and their contact information is listed on the Diveshops tab at the top of the forum. Wink

Scott,
you might be going by Long Lake near Itasca, aways west of Bemidji, south of Bagley, Mn. that's a clear lake and the most popular for diving in that area...(there's lots of Long Lakes so be sure to find the right one) I don't think there's much for good water right close to Bemidji.. I've heard that south Cass Lake has some nice shallow areas for snorkeling, so maybe there would be some good shallow diving there too.
The folks at Dive Depot will be helpful.. they've got a nice little shop on the n.w. side of Bemidji.
