Rumor has it that there might be a couple people out at Square on Wednesday , April 9th (if the ice is gone). Probably will use the trailer park instead of the county park.

It's supposed to be chilly again this weekend...Highs in the upper 30's and some snow maybe on monday. :-X

Its will be interesting if the ice clears out by then There are a few smaller lakes down here that are ice free. But if it is iceless , it will be diver-full!!!!

I would take the whole day off and I was thinking sometime in the late morning. However , it certainly could be a little later to accomodate others.
(Wouldn't be against doing something in the afternoon...)

As luck would have it I'm off April 9
I may just drift up to Square Lake to see these rumored divers. Of course I'ld have to go in the water myself to confirm they were actually there.

Hey , if the weather is right , the high on Wednesday ... Low 50's. Yes , please come out and do a personal confirmation.
Perfectly understandable that you would have to check on their whereabouts in the water also.
Think of this as kind of a pre-season dive before the regular season starts (Crosby , Wazee , Superior etc...)

Hmm...I might be up for this if the ice is off the lake. I could be out by around 6:30pm. Need to practice with my new drysuit.

WEDNESDAY AT SQUARE!
Who is going? What location - campground or public landing?
Proposal:
1. If we can dive, great.
2. If we can't/don't dive, then even if icy/lousy viz/cold air temp, why not gather with new gear, stories, pics, etc from the winter and shoot the breeze for awhile. Supposed to be clear and 50's on Wed.
We can plan to bring charcoal, dogs, brats, buns, pop, coffee, camp chairs etc and be pretty comfy.
I can be there just before 5PM.
If a response, I'll start with:
1 pkg dogs
1pkg buns
6 Diet Coke
1 roll paper towels
Others? Condiments, chips, brats, more buns, other bevs, charcoal....
