2003 Dive Season Goals - Chris - 02-21-2003
I was just sitting here thinking (I know, scary)... but there are some things I'd like to 'accomplish' this year while diving. Not necessarily skills wise, but just in general. Here they are (not in order):
1. See a Northern Pike or Musky
2. Feed the fish
3. Improve on my skills (obviously)
4. Dive more
5. Meet more people from the site
What are your goals this year?

1. go spearfishing for northern pike over at Sakagawea (would like to get just 1 BIG one)
2. maybe strategically (secretly) place some stuff (steel bathtubs, or whatever) under the water
3. Improve on my skills (obviously)
4. Dive more (and dive more with a buddy)
5. Free Dive to -120' (or more)
6. Hold my breath for 5:00
7. Take a Performance Freediving Clinic, maybe in Florida (would be a good time to try and achieve #5)
8. Get someone locally really addicted to freediving so I have a good buddy all the time.
9. get my wife to at least -30' so she can be my #8

2003 Goals
1. dive more
2. AOW (mised last years class do to move :'( )
3. might be willing to help Fred free diving looks cool.
4. make at least 8 new dive buddie contacts

Goals:
1. Complete level 1 trimix
2. Dive in Lake Superior (only in MN for the summer, and I just havent gotten there yet)
3. Dive as often as possible

Hope to meet more people from the group. So come on up and dive Lake Ore-be-Gone.
Make a few trips to Thunder Bay awesome diving
Head out to Mackinaw City (New Wrecks)
Take the new dive boat out of Duluth.
Get 3 new dive sites in Lake Ore-be-Gone
Enjoy retirerment

Great thread. Goals:
1) Become experienced dry suit diver
2) Dive with father up in Mackinaw
3) Go diving in Thunder Bay
4) Meet new buddies through the forum
5) Dive safe and often!

Hmm, it's like New Years resolution time.
1. Get my wife diving again.
2. More time in my drysuit.
3. Visit more sites (one of my own preferred).
4. Take Apprentice Cave.
5. Take Advanced Nitrox.

For this season: I want to
1) learn to use my new dry suit
2) get a second job to pay for it
3) get a third job to pay for the gear I already have
4) win the lottery

season? i dont need no stinkin' season.
reason? goal 1) dive, at least, once every month in 2003
2) take AOW cert
3) dive sea caves and a couple of wreck in the Apostle Islands
4) take drysuit cert
5) try freediving (yes, Fred, a chance at a convert!)

OK...Here goes...
1) Get a drysuit...(About time for one)
2) Rescue Diver and start DiveMaster
3) Dive at least 2-3 times a week
4) Meet new *AND* old divers from the list.
5) Be the bestest and safest I can be , every dive !!!
Say Chrisw , once a month??? COMON !!!!
