Wreck diving Isle Royale  is an experience everyone should try. I just returned from 4 days aboard the RLT DIVER III. Words cannot do justice to the feeling that you get dropping down into the depths and the viz opening up onto one of these massive wrecks. The team spirit that develops on the boat is amazing.
The weather was as cooperative as one could expect on the big lake they call Getchigumi. The water was about 50 at the surface and low 40's at depth.

Daren,

Its a shame you never have  strong opinion about anything.  Big Grin

Seriously, I'm glad you had such a good time.  The part where you see the vis opening is a great experience alright.  I'll have to reconsider this trip in the future.

This trip is a great opportunity to experience some excellent wreck diving.  The beauty of the island is worth the trip alone but once you've dove the wrecks of Isle Royale you'll keep comming back!
