Cavern Trip Planned Dec 2-7, 2006 - lulseth - 10-19-2006

Ron and Matt are heading to Cave country in an RV in a few weeks. They will be offering Cavern, Advanced, and deep training on the trip. The trip is limited to 6 divers, so sign up at Going Under asap. The cost of the trip will be $799 per diver and includes local motels, travel to Florida in an RV, park fees and breakfast each day. The planned dive sites include, Devils Den, Blue Grotto, Troy Springs, Orange Grove Sink, and possibly Ginnie depending on visibility there. I am hoping to go, so please, some open circuit divers are especially welcome to come, I need an open circuit buddy!

Call the shop or stop by (we have a huge sale on Saturday, but Ron will not be there) I will put your query to him on Friday, if he stops in on his way to Wazee (trimix training), or Monday. Site list is not final, would be good to talk to Ron about the trip.

I took a day off of cave diving today.  Had to get my drysuit fixed (a long story, but funny one), so between doing my laundry, getting an oil change, and other tasks I've been putting off, I checked out all 7 of the springs at Ginnie.  I never realized how big that park is.  Well, Ginnie main spring, the one you would likely be diving, is freakishly clear.  Clearer than gin.  Unlimited visibility.  - Kirk

Eyups.
And low too...(water level)
It's getting interesting trying to get out of the headpool with doubles on...
(I've actually had to kneel down on the bottom step and then do the grunt and lift)
