Coast Guard Ice Diving Fatalities - DanL - 09-25-2006
Two fully trained CG divers died in an arctic ice dive. News I saw said the dive was underway less than ten minutes when they were both pulled in.
The captain of the ship was relieved of duty. Very unfortunate, but also a bit strange.
Any additional facts?

Dan, I heard about this back in late August. Unfortunately there has not been any additional info released yet as the investigation is still being done.
