Lower Pine Lake, WI - arcFlash - 05-02-2007

I'll be diving Lower Pine Lake, WI. About an hour from Saint Paul. Look up Star Prairie, WI. It's close to that. I'll be at the boat ramp about 10am Sunday if anyone wants to join us.

Lake: small, 110 feet. last year the vis was in the 20's. soft bottom.

Artifacts: Dock, ice box, anchors, misc and 'reportedly' a log cabin. The icebox(60) is suppose to be part of the debris field but I've not yet made the correct search depth of 90feet. I would like to try and search for it.

Anyone interested contact me and I'll provide directions, lat/log and time.

Steve

Yep, Lower Pine is a nice lake to dive.  I usually get out there a few times a year.  I've never pushed much past 70 feet of depth because the viz usually gets crappy below 50 feet.  All in all it's decent lake to dive, better than Square or Perch.  There does tend to be a bit of boat traffic on it though in the summer.
