how many people does it take to make single dive team?

Re: question for the day. - MNDiver - 02-28-2006

Just to clarify, are you talking about just how many people it takes to put one diver in the water or are you including divers, tenders, and all of the other dive operations related folks in the incident command structure?

We are not talking IC, we are talking to get Pri.diver down with back ups. You can have many teams it a dept.

3 -- one in the water, one tender, one backup.

It takes a minium of 5.
1 pri. diver
1 pri. tender
1bud, back up diver
1back up tender-profilier.
1 90% diver in case bud has a problem.
