Hesper - decoeric - 06-30-2005 Has anyone dove the Hesper from shore using the new access for divers? I am planning on diving it on Saturday maybe and wondering what your opinions were on the site? Is it worth a dive or no? Thanks, eric Re: Hesper - jasondbaker - 06-30-2005 I've done this dive several times over the years.  The new steps are a nice addition.  It is usually worth one dive if you are up there for the weekend. Re: Hesper - MNDiver - 06-30-2005 Shore access is not as easy as your basement steps at home.   The state has made some makshift steps from the breakwall rocks and concrete and added a small slab landing on the water side.  It is not hard to walk on, but not real easy either.  I have some photos on my website if you want to check the Hesper out.  Not the best photos, but will give you an idea of what the wreck is like.  They are under the "superior" link.  look under:   mndiver.com Later, Chris Re: Hesper - LKunze - 06-30-2005 Here's a couple shots of the access.  It's not too bad.  It was much worse before they added the concrete.  Re: Hesper - Maka - 06-30-2005 Heres some other angles.
