scuba in mexico - freedivernd - 02-12-2005

Well, of all the trips I've made to warm water destinations I finally gave in and donned the scuba equipment..  hey.. those cressi 2000hf freediving fins work real good while scuba.. well it was a drift dive but still, when I wanted to stop and hover they sure worked.  Other than that.. all kinds of off shore excursions for some freediving.  Where I was you had to go waaaaaay out.  At one location you got into quite a current and ended up with a good effort to get back to the entry point but at the other location there was no current (akumal) but there you had to go even further out for any kinda depth.  But there was tons to see at akumal.. I think we saw just about everything we've ever seen in mexico there.  nice.
