wazee buoy - john j - 12-20-2004 If anyone dives at Wazee in the near future and if you have time, the buoy at the 100ft ledge at site 2 needs to be pulled under water before the ice comes. John J Re:wazee buoy - ScubaAl - 12-20-2004 Should be there new years day, if all goes well. Which site is site number 2? Oh the one with the bouy right? Al Re:wazee buoy - LKunze - 12-21-2004 Correct. Is Wazee still open? With this cold weather this week it's gotta be ready to freeze over anytime now. Re:wazee buoy - ScubaAl - 12-21-2004 We have been diving New Years day for 6 years or so. Only once was the lake froze over. That was maybe 4 yrs ago. Al Re:wazee buoy - LKunze - 12-21-2004 Cool. Hopefully the open water streak continues for you. Re:wazee buoy - tcjtn0 - 12-22-2004 Cool. Hopefully the open water streak continues for you. [/quote] ER , I can't!!!! Jean Re:wazee buoy - john j - 12-22-2004 The buoy is at the site with the boat ramp nearest to the campground. It's a tall, thin white buoy. Check for the site on the map in that awesome book The Diver's Guide to Lake Wazee. ;D The lake had no ice last Saturday. You're right though, it has been very cold. Happy holidays everyone Re:wazee buoy - lotsofgadgets - 12-29-2004 Is anyone going to be diving Wazee on Jan 1, and does anyone know if the ice is still out? Re:wazee buoy - Omicron - 12-30-2004 According to one of the guys over on WIScuba, open water is no longer an option. I guess there are people ice fishing on it already. |
