how many #'s of lift needed for a set of 95's - willadams67 - 07-12-2004

I was looking into doing some cave diving and was wondering if my Trek wings (40#'s of lift) will work? Dive Rite says it will support medium sized dubbles, but does not specify what medium means. I was thinking of useing a set of 95's, would 40#'s be enough lift?

If you cut off all those useless bungies you'll be fine with Faber 95's and no stage bottles.

I use a Halcyon BC with 55lbs. of lift. I dive with steel 95's and deco bottle and this seems to be the standard.

If you are thinking about taking a cave or cavern course, they will require you to have more lift than a 40lb.
