Righteous finds! You obviously were not at the Narrows bridge, Were you? Too many tools to be found at anywhere other than a dock. 3 hammers and a clamp? bilge pump? Was the prop a stainless 19" dia 21 pitch? I might be interested if it fits a Mercruiser. Looks like you had a great day.

SURE! As soon as Flash and I set sail, Robert and Hydro go back to the same spot Robert just covered, and find all kinds of stuff. What do you think Steve? Almost sounds like we were set up,,,,,,,, :-\

I wonder if they found that gold from last Sunday..

Wouldn't put it past either one of them, every time Joe shows up lately, he just spend another $1000. or so. on new gear, Roberts probably squirrling his away to show up with a brand new boat this spring.

Too much traffic for my taste. I'd consider diving there if they didn't clean it out.

Maybe I'll get that 6am dive in after all.

I have a prop that's good but I don't know how to measure pitch. Should it be stamped?

Re: Shore diving Sunday the 25th of Oct. - Terry - 10-26-2009

Pitch will be the distance around the outside edge of a single blade, should be stampaed into the hub (typically at the end of the m odel # of the prop.) with a two digit number followed by "p" like 17p for a 17" pitch. It is the theoretical distance you go forward per revolution of the prop, minus slippage.

Believing you were set up??  Sounds a little paranoid to me.... ;D
