Wow, that really cleaned up nice. Is there any history to this anchor? How old is it? Who made it? etc.

On the bottom of the anchor it was marked THE DOTSON COMPANY. I did and internet search and found a metal casting company with that name in Mankato MN. The company dates back to the 1870s. I sent an e-mail to the company to see if they made this anchor and if they could provide any history on it. If I hear back from them, I will post it here.

I was going to post some pics of prizewinners from the Clean Up Dive, but the digital pics were lost.
Should mention though that the big prize - a brand new AL80 tank - was donated by Scuba Daddy's Dive Shop in Burnsville.

Also, the guys from Crystal Pierz Marine did a great job and gave out some great boat service gift certificates.
The video that was shot should be showing up one of these weekends very soon on Minnesota Bound and/or Environmental Journal.
