It was under Advanced Discussions / DIR what I found when I did a search

No archives to speak of, just older posts

Re:DIR Fundamentals class - Freedive WI - 03-07-2003

There is a new diveshop opening up in Wisconsin, Deep Blue Diving, that is bringing Andrew G. in to teach a DIR-F class this June.

I agree with Fred on not needing all of those certs for Freediving. Even though I am certified through Advanced Trimix, and a few instrcutor ratings to boot, I love the simplicity, and cost savings, of freediving.

The last time I dove Wazee I spent 8 hours in the water freedivng while my buddies got a whopping 40 minutes of bottom in on two trimix dives- cost/benefit ratio kicks some serious butt. ;D
