Re: Doubles - Kirk - 01-07-2007 I agree, for a smaller set of doubles, which will give you the most flexibility, go with the LP Steel 85s. The aluminum 65s (or actually I think they're called 63s) are way too stumpy. Unless you are really short, I think they would trim you out poorly. - Kirk Re: Doubles - Lindan - 01-07-2007 Okay, advice taken. I'll try the 85's or close equivalent in steel. Thanks for the offer of trying the 85's Lonnie I'll let you know. Linda Re: Doubles - DanL - 01-08-2007 Linda, Lonnie is on it...you need prbably at least 85's because other divers will be planning their dives based on the lowest "thirds" available. For the Kamloops, I would ask around to see what the minimum doubles size is reasonable for teh dive before buying a set. You can use my doubles on the 21st if we all get there. Re: Doubles - tcjtn0 - 01-09-2007 85's ... 85's ... 85's ... ;D ;D ;D Jeano Beano Re: Doubles - Mr.Pitbull - 01-10-2007 Daren just got his 112's set up and ready for the water, now I just need to get back to cave country. Doubles are good! Re: Doubles - deepdarkblue - 01-10-2007 I agree, very reliable. 112's are great for a more open water, 85's for penetrating wrecks. Although, I can be mistaken. Anyone else's thoughts on tank size on wreck penetrating? Re: Doubles - wtdrm - 01-10-2007 Hey, I dont want to be a fly in the ointment. With all the talk about doubles. Consider a RB. Just look at the options. The RB is just a tool. Check out SDT rebreather night. I think it is free. Call Bonnie. |
